PRLog (Press Release)– Mar 27, 2011– old video cards have different kinds of problems, some of problems like this:
There seems to be a problem with the video card : - About 2 out of 3 starts - everything starts and runs okay, except for a couple of times when the screen went black and the computer had to be rebooted. - About 1 out of 3 starts - the very first screen shows a video defect: multiple vertical green lines about 2 cm tall. After a while the screen goes black even though the hard drive is still turning. then reboot in "Safe Mode" - and then can usually restart in "Normal Mode." when you installed an nTune temperature monitor thinking that it might be over heating. The temperature is usually about 60-65 C. The highest is about 73-75 C.

Have finally reached the point where at every start-up the normally black screen has the green, thin, vertical lines. Start-up then terminates with black screen. As before, when booted-up in "safe mode" can get to a "safe" windows screen but can faintly see defective background. The video card seems to have a defect.
