PRLog (Press Release)– Mar 07, 2011– The PathWay® Model 7268 Single Channel HD15 Interface AB Switch provides single channel switching in a low profile, 19-inch 1U rack unit. The Model 7268 allows the user the capability of sharing a single HD15 interface device connected to the Common port among two other devices connected to the A and B ports.
This remotely controllable switch may be controlled locally by manually operating the front panel push button(s) or remotely from the DB9/male serial interface Control port located on the rear of the unit. The front panel LED display indicates the switch position and power unit status. Features: Allows access to HD15 networks from one COMMON network or device. Switches all 15 pins of the HD15 interface. Transparent to data speed and format. Local control via front-panel pushbuttons. Remote control port allows off-site monitoring and switch management. The REMOTE port accepts RS232 Serial Data ASCII commands for switch position control and monitoring. Front panel LED's display switch position and power status. Ideal for fallback applications. Eliminates the need to plug and unplug cables. Retains last switch position in the event of power loss and continues to pass data. Attractive anodized black box packaging provides EMI/RFI shielding. Custom length HD15 cables available for your switch installation.
